The annual Battle of the Bluegrass basketball game between Louisville and Kentucky will tip-off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29. ESPN2 will have coverage of the rivalry tilt.
For anyone upset about this, you have to understand that this is going to continue to be the way it is in years that the game is in Louisville (ESPN contract, no CBS contract) unless they decide to move the game to another part of the season. I’ve been a proponent of moving the game up or back (preferably back) for years, but it seems like I’m in the minority.
