Teddy Bridgewater named starting QB for Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos announced on Wednesday that Teddy Bridgewater would be the starting quarterback when the team takes the field in week one of the regular season on September 12 against the New York Giants. Teddy won the QB competition against Drew Lock, who is in his third season in the league, all with the Broncos.

As a starter in the NFL, the 28-year-old Bridgewater is 26-23 with stops in Minnesota, New Orleans, and Carolina. He was 5-0 in New Orleans in 2019 when he replaced Drew Brees. And most recently, he was 4-11 with the Carolina Panthers in 2020.
