When Ellis went off against Michigan State last month, Chris Mack rightfully pointed out after the game that it was sort of a playing with house money situation. The Cards were down big, and if Ellis was missing all the shots that he was making during that ridiculous individual stretch, it really wouldn’t have mattered all that much.
