University of Louisville basketball was back at the KFC Yum! Center on Wednesday, seemingly ahead of schedule after the hard-to-shake memories of last season’s disastrous start for Coach Kenny Payne. The annual Red and White scrimmage hopefully providing a preview of better things to come.
Have to give credit where credit is due. There did seem to be a new attitude. This UofL team is bigger, faster, and passes the ball better. In a 32-minute scrimmage the Red beat the White 62-51 in front of a crowd of 5,719.
The score wasn’t what was important. It was how this team meshed and interacted on the court.
