This summer, Louisville head coach Rick Pitino accepted the position of head coach with the Puerto Rican National team. He has been splitting time with both them and the Cardinals and it has certainly been an experience for him.
Pitino even brought his Cardinals to Puerto Rico for a series of exhibition games, in which he coached the Puerto Rican team against his collegiate squad. That was a terrific way to get his Cardinals prepared for the upcoming season.
According to College Basketball Talk, Pitino blogged about his experiences this summer and he had a lot to say about both squads and how they grew this year.
