By Beau Kilpatrick—
Louisville native Ray Spalding is prepared for round two of his Cardinal career under coach Rick Pitino.
Cardinal fans saw glimmers of hope for the 6-foot-10 forward last season. Spalding displayed bursts of fierceness on the defensive side of the ball and stretched the opposition with his offensive versatility.
Spalding blocked 20 shots in the 2015-16 season and he raked in 28 steals. His interior dominance awarded him 130 rebounds last season.
