Louisville added another transfer from Georgia Southern this afternoon when Shai Werts announced his commitment. Werts is has been the starting Quarterback at GSU for the past four years and he has put up outstanding numbers leading their offense. When he announced his transfer he made it known that he was looking to change positions to receiver or athlete. My understanding is that UofL will honor that and he will be playing receiver. The grad transfer will have one year to play at Louisville.
Louisville started looking at adding a receiver late in the 2021 recruiting class but didn’t end up doing so.
