Monday afternoon Cardinal news and notes

—Western Kentucky had itself a hell of an opening week as it now prepares to take on Louisville tomorrow.

—Everyone knows all about Louisville’s injury problems, but the Hilltoppers could be without the services of their most consistent scorer on Tuesday.

Coach Rick Stansbury said in a press conference that Western Kentucky scoring leader Taveion Hollingsworth (19 ppg) is dealing with a sprained left thumb and hyperextended right elbow. Stansbury said the guard will be a game-time decision tomorrow v. Louisville.
