Louisville landed their Running Back for the 2022 class yesterday with Maurice Turner announcing his commitment. Turner is a 3-star Athlete from Georgia who lists himself at 5-9/179 pounds. He was recruited by Derrick Nicholson, Gunter Brewer, and Derail Sims but it sounds like Scott Satterfield was personally involved here.
UofL wanted one Running Back in this class and had a handful of guys that they worked out in person. Turner made a visit in late June and spent the full day visiting and working out for the coaches. There’s a good chance that the workout is when Satterfield became more involved with his recruitment.
