Louisville football has now lost two huge recruits before 1:00 PM today.
First it was three star offensive lineman, Jamari Williams. Now, three star JUCO TE, Austin Griffin, has announced via Twitter that he has backed off his commitment from Louisville.
There’s not much else to say about this day. Losing three players (the second was Jordan Travis, who UofL announced was transferring) in less than 24 hours spells out a bigger problem than just a bad season.
Tight end was already a sore spot for the Louisville Cardinals. With just two tight ends on scholarship this season, and only one returning year in Jordan Davis, Bobby Petrino and his staff absolutely had to have Griffin on campus next season.
