The only thing standing between Louisville and a third straight trip to Omaha for the College World Series is the Cal State Fullerton Titans.
Fullerton, a perennial powerhouse in college baseball, won its regional this past weekend without losing a game, just like the Cardinals. The Titans will head to Jim Patterson Stadium now for the best-of-3 super regional round against the Cards. Game times and dates for the series will be announced Monday night.
This isn't the first time these two have squared off with a CWS berth on the line. In 2009, Louisville traveled out to California to face second-seeded Fullerton in the supers.
