Minnesota star guard Marcus Carr, who last week removed his name from the NBA Draft and announced he would transfer to another school to finish his college career, is down to four potential landing spots: Louisville, Kentucky, Texas and Kansas. This according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.
Carr has been rated all offseason by multiple college hoops writers as the top potential transfer available on the market, and for good reason.
After playing for Pitt in 2017-18, Carr transferred to Minnesota where he was a star in each of his two seasons with the Gophers. He broke the school’s single-season assist record as a sophomore in 2019-20, and leaves as the program’s career leader in assists per game.
