Louisville football's 2025 season has quickly turned underwhelming, as the Cards have dropped three straight and are now 7-4. Louisville got absolutely stomped by SMU yesterday afternoon as the Cards fell 38-6 and ended their ACC season 4-3.
The Cards' 2025 season was an up-and-down roller coaster, as they lost their first two games in overtime and their third game by one point. Louisville earned key wins throughout the season, including two massive road wins over Miami and Pitt, which ended up being two of the best teams in the conference. However, yesterday's win was a crushing loss as Louisville looked like they checked out and are just moving on to the 2026 season.
