Just two days after the firing of a head coach you would expect a football program to be losing recruits. But for Louisville football that is the opposite of what happened today.
There’s been a lot of talk about Vince Tyra, Richard Owens (Louisville’s interim TE coach) and current Recruiting Coordinator, Pete Nochta, getting on the phone just hours after the firing of Coach Bobby Petrino to ensure that no other recruits backed off their commitment or potential targets dropped Louisville from consideration.
