Louisville football lands Alcorn State DB transfer Qwynnterrio Cole

The Louisville football team has added yet another defensive back to its roster. This time it’s Alcorn State transfer Qwynnterrio Cole, who was an FCS preseason All-American heading into a 2020 season that wound up not happening for his school.

As a junior in 2019, Cole notched 86 tackles and a team-best five interceptions. Those numbers earned him HBCU All-American honors following the season. In 2018, Cole recorded a team-high 76 tackles and a single interception.

At 6’3, 190-pounds, Cole played both corner and safety at Alcorn State, spending more time at the latter spot near the tail end of his career as a Brave.
