For the first time in almost three years, the Louisville Cardinals are a nationally ranked football team.
After its 35-21 defeat of Western Kentucky Saturday night, U of L checks in at No. 18 in the week two Associated Press top 25 poll, and it No. 16 in the coaches poll. The Cards last appeared in the AP poll on Oct. 1, 2017.
