Stokes is a Louisville native who has won multiple gold medals for Team USA and, at 6-foot-7, 225 pounds, is nearly unstoppable. Louisville has been the dominant favorite to land Stokes throughout his recruiting process, but as of late, the Kentucky Wildcats have become the frontrunners in some experts' eyes.
On3 Sports/Rivals expert Jamie Shaw went on KSR last week and revealed that the No. 1 prospect in the nation is now "leaning" towards the Wildcats. The Cardinals and Wildcats are in a massive recruiting battle for Stokes, but it appears Louisville is in grave danger right now.
