While Louisville was never really in the running, it is official that 5-star guard and the No. 4 recruit in the nation, Jason Crowe Jr., announced his commitment to the Missouri Tigers. The Cardinals were one of 11 programs to extend an offer to Crowe, but striking out on Crowe came with a glorious silver lining.
The Cardinals' in-state rival, Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats, were once one of the top favorites for Crowe, so to see the Wildcats also whiff on Crowe is a big-time win for Louisville basketball fans.
