As most of you are probably aware of, local radio show host/Louisville basketball radio analyst Bob Valvano is currently in a battle with Stage 4 chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Valvano began chemotherapy less than a week ago, and while his first treatment was more than a bit rough, round two appears to have gone much better.
Rough 1st Chemo. Docs said never saw anyone react like that on first day in six years...thank you, thank you very much. Fourteen dry heaves (I counted.) Tough day....but they adjusted anti nausea meds, lowered dose rate and last 4 hours were fine.
