Louisville basketball holds breath amidst possible allegations

According to an NCAA official, Level I violations will be placed on six men’s basketball teams by the end of summer. Louisville is one of the college teams that could be affected.

The Cards had already been under investigation by the FBI for allegations regarding the 2017 pay-to-play scandal.

This NCAA decision follows the previous FBI investigation where sports agent Christian Dawkins was found bribing players to play for certain schools.

Under NCAA bylaw 10.1 misconduct is defined by, “receipt of benefits by an institutional staff member for facilitating or arranging a meeting between a student athlete and an agent, financial advisor or representative of an agent or advisor.
