Louisville basketball is quickly approaching a busy time of year. And although the approach may be different right now, Chris Mack and the Cardinals coaching staff are after a number of big-name recruits.
After a first year where the staff was able to fill out the roster with a top ten recruiting class, there were a lot of misses that cost the Cardinals in the 2020 class. The staff pursued a ton of talented players that had Louisville high on their list but was unable to reel in a ton of big fish.
To add insult to injury, Louisville’s best recruit, JUCO transfer and Louisville native Jay Scrubb- opted to keep his name in the NBA Draft in order to pursue a pro career right away.
