Louisville baseball’s Trey Leonard and Tim Borden Enter Transfer Portal

Upon the completion of the season, Trey Leonard and Tim Borden have joined Kellan Tulio as the only active members of the Louisville baseball team to enter the transfer portal.

Leonard appeared in 45 games this season, starting 37 of them and seemed to be in a good position to contend for a starting role in the outfield next year. He finished the season batting .313, the third highest on the team, with 7 2B’s, 4 HR’s, and 25 RBI. He also added 7 stolen bases on 9 attempts.

His batting average hovered around the .400 mark for a majority of the season before taking a hit at the end of the year.
