Head coach Dan McDonnell and the University of Louisville baseball program have announced four Cardinals as captains for the 2021 season.
Sophomore catcher Henry Davis, junior infielder/outfielder Lucas Dunn, senior left-handed pitcher Adam Elliott and senior right-handed pitcher Luke Smith were selected by UofL players and coaches as the captains for the upcoming year. Elliott and Smith will serve as captains for the second straight season.
Davis is beginning his third season behind the plate for the Cardinals. After splitting time as a freshman, Davis was off to an outstanding start in 2020.
