In a game that most labeled a “must win,” Bobby Petrino and the Louisville Cardinals put together their best performance of the season as they picked up their first FBS win of the season against North Carolina State, 20-13. The Cards jumped out to a 14-0 lead and did just enough to keep control.
“It was a very good team win,” Bobby Petrino said following his first ACC win of the season. “We played great defense and came up with a lot of great defensive plays.
