In week three of the 2018-19 season, Louisville football will go head-to-head with in-state program Western Kentucky for the first time since 1998. Led by second year coach Mike Sanford, the Hilltoppers will look to get their first win against the Cards since September 13, 1975 when they took the victory 21-17.
After going 6-6 and making a bowl game in 2017-18, the Hilltopers will have a daunting task of replacing several key players, including QB Mike White. The Cards will come into this one after a matchup against Indiana State, in which I predicted last week that they would win 56-6.
