This originally ran as the cover story in LEO the week the Cards were to play their final game in Freedom Hall, before moving downtown. I posted it again online about five years ago.
I do so one more time, knowing it’s actually germane this time around.
The Ville, U of L’s alumni entrant in The Basketball Tournament, will play their opener next week in the fabled, longtime home of the Cardinals. Plus once or twice more, should they keep winning.
