The first day of college basketball’s early signing period arrived on Wednesday, and four of the members from Chris Mack’s six-man 2019 recruiting class went ahead and signed their names on the dotted line.
Only Aidan Igiehon — who has said that he plans on waiting until the late signing period so that his family from Ireland can attend the ceremony — and Jaelyn Withers have yet to make the transition from “commit” to “signee.” Withers is expected to sign during the early period, but no set date has been given.
As for the other four players, Wednesday marked the official end of their recruitment.
