Former Louisville football legend eyes history and revenge in early 2025 MVP race

Former Louisville football legend Lamar Jackson is cooking through two weeks of football on the pro stage. Jackson is coming off a historic 2024 season and quite arguably one of the biggest MVP robberies in a long time.

Jackson lost the 2024 MVP race to the Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen, despite Jackson having a higher completion percentage, throwing more passing yards, more passing touchdowns, fewer interceptions, and rushing for more rushing yards. The two-time MVP was robbed of his third MVP award, and now will seek to become just the seventh player in NFL history to earn at least three MVP awards in their career.
