Louisville landed its 21st commitment from the class of 2017 when Florida defensive end Jabreel Stephens pledged his allegiance to the Cards Wednesday night.

Stephens, a three-star prospect, had offers from Cal, Maryland, Arizona, Syracuse and Kentucky, among others. The 6'5, 230-pound Stephens plays defensive end for Armwood High School, but could also play linebacker at the college level.
"I love Louisville's defensive scheme," Stephens told 247Sports.com. "They see me as a guy that can blitz off the edge and drop back and play in the flats.
