Louisville’s football staff got back to their hot streak on the recruiting trail today with a commitment from defensive back Derrick Edwards. The Florida prospect was expected to commit a few months ago but for whatever reason he decided to take his time. Edwards is a 3-star prospect who holds offers from Florida State, Baylor, Cincinnati, Miami, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Louisville is getting a very versatile defensive back who could end up at Cornerback or Safety. He plays all over the field for his high school and you don’t really see a drop off as he moves around.
