Carlik Jones named Battle of the Bluegrass game MVP

A very much-deserved honor for the Radford grad transfer. He was nails the entire afternoon.

Here’s the release from the Bluegrass Sports Commission:

The Bluegrass Sports Commission (BSC) has named Louisville senior Carlik Jones the Most Valuable Player of today’s men’s basketball game between the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky at the Yum! Center.

Jones led all scorers with a game-high 20 points, including a pair of free throws in the final seconds to give UofL the lead for good. The Cincinnati native also recorded five rebounds and two assists in the 62-59 Cardinal win.
