Thanks to the bubble and “wubble” the NBA and WNBA are cautiously going ahead with their seasons. The WNBA is quarantined in Bradenton, Florida. For fans of Louisville women’s basketball that gives us the chance to enjoy some of our favorite former Cards.
Of course the gold standard of Louisville basketball is Angel McCoughtry. She’s finally returned to the WNBA after recuperating from her ACL tear in August of 2018. New team (the Las Vegas Aces) but the same old Angel. In her first outing she scored 25 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She is averaging 18.2 points a game and shooting 56%.
