The University of Louisville women’s tennis team dropped a 4-3 battle with No. 27-ranked Wake Forest Sunday afternoon in the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
“It was a grind. I sound like a bit of a broken record but it is just so tough. We don’t really have any easy matches. We fought today and we were close and had some opportunities. We had three singles that we could of possibly won and turned some things around. We came out and didn’t play as well as we could of in doubles and they took advantage of that. It is a heartbreaker, but it is life in the ACC,” said UofL head coach Mark Beckham.
