After this monumental season, several Louisville baseball players landed spots with the MLB.
The players included Logan Wyatt (51 overall), Michael McAvene (103 overall), Tyler Fitzgerald (116 overall), Nick Bennett (193 overall), Bryan Hoeing (201 overall), Jake Snider (604 overall), Drew Campbell (697 overall), and Shay Smiddy (1088 overall).
Of these selections, junior Snider stands out, with a post season hitting average of .481. Along with junior Campbell having 33 RBI’s.
These same players will take the field at Jim Patterson against ECU in the NCAA super regionals.
