The 2018-2019 Louisville basketball schedule was one of the most difficult schedules the Cards have had in quite some time, one that featured matchups against 13 ranked teams including 12 against opponents who were in the top 10 at some point or another during the year.
Chris Mack shared the fact that he loved the challenging schedule on multiple occasions, citing that it helped him gauge how good his team was as well as helping to prepare them for ACC Tournament play and the Big Dance itself.
Finishing the season 19-12, the Cards strong non-conference schedule and big wins against Michigan State, UNC, Virginia Tech, and others helped them earn a seven seed in the NCAA Tournament.
