Louisville football received devastating news this morning that its star Isaac Brown will be out "for a while." The elite running back suffered an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter that kept him sidelined for the remainder of the game, and Jeff Brohm announced this morning that he is out against Cal, and certainly made it seem like he might be out multiple games.
The Cards currently have the highest odds to make the College Football Playoffs out of any ACC team. So, with Louisville wanting to keep its playoff dreams alive, Brown's injury comes at the worst possible time.
