It was announced today by ESPN that Louisville women’s basketball will host Kentucky on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. ET in the 2021 Jimmy V Women’s Classic. The game will broadcast live on ESPN.
Also a part of the Jimmy V Women’s Classic, South Carolina will host Maryland on Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. ET.
The Jimmy V Classic, named for legendary college men’s basketball coach and former ESPN commentator Jim Valvano, annually raises money and awareness for the V Foundation for Cancer Research, which was founded by Valvano in 1993 to fund game-changing cancer research and scientists to eradicate the disease.
