Louisville basketball was utterly crushed by 5-star Taylen Kinney when he committed to the Kansas Jayhawks. The Cardinals were all-in on the nation's No. 1 point guard, and the city wanted him to represent his home state.
However, Louisville saw him commit to Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks, and now Louisville must try and find their next elite point guard or next elite superstar from the 2026 recruiting class. The Cardinals are in many recruits' top eight and top 10 lists, and with September coming to a close, it is clear that recruiting is about to pick up, with the fall commitment date inching closer.
