OAKLAND, Calif. -- Houston Rockets star James Harden and Golden State Warriors counterpart Stephen Curry both departed Tuesday night's Game 2 in the first quarter with injuries before eventually returning.
Harden got hit inadvertently across both eyes by Golden State's Draymond Green in the opening quarter of what would turn into a 115-109 Warriors win.
Harden returned to the Rockets' bench during a timeout with 9:38 remaining in the second quarter with what the team called a laceration of the left eyelid. He reentered the game with 7:09 to play and finished with 29 points to lead the Rockets in scoring.
