NEW ORLEANS -- ULM senior defensive lineman Kevontay Wells was named to the 2025 Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team Defense following a vote by the conference's head coaches and media panel.
Wells has also received preseason All-Sun Belt recognition from Athlon Sports (First Team) and Phil Steele (Third Team).
In his first season with the Warhawks, Wells led the team with 11.0 tackles for loss, which ranked tied for sixth in the Sun Belt. He tallied multiple TFLs in three separate SBC games against Troy (2.0), Southern Miss (2.5) and Marshall (1.
