MONROE, La. - The ULM Warhawks conclude a season-opening 12-game home stand at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening when they host the Jackson State Tigers. It is the first of two meetings this season between the Warhawks and Tigers.
The Warhawks rebounded from a 6-3 Friday night loss to Illinois State to take the weekend series, winning 26-8 on Saturday and 4-2 on Sunday. ULM is 9-2 on the season. It marks the best start for the Warhawks since 2018, when ULM also started 9-2. With a win on Tuesday, it will be the fastest a Warhawk team has reached 10 wins in a season since 2000, when ULM opened the season 10-1.
