BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The ULM beach volleyball team wrapped up the Blazer Beach Bash, hosted by UAB, by claiming its second win of the season, which came over Nicholls State in 5-0 fashion, on Saturday, Feb. 29 in Birmingham, Ala. The Warhawks, who split the two-day, four-match event, suffered a 5-0 setback at the hands of Coastal Carolina earlier in the afternoon.
ULM (2-7) quickly established a 1-0 lead in the match against Nicholls State when the No. 5 seeded tandem of Ina Gosen and Bailey Smith triumphed 21-9, 21-8 over Meghan Wozniak and Lilly Bivens.
