Despite dropping the last four games, the ULM women’s basketball team left Mobile with a win over South Alabama. The ULM Warhawks (16-9; 8-5 Sun Belt Conference) are back in the win column and have posted a 16-win season for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign.
The Warhawks triumphed over the Jaguars (8-18; 1-12 SBC) with a 68-60 win, and ULM never allowed South Alabama to take the lead. With this win, the Warhawks split the series with USA, as the Jaguars won in Monroe earlier in the season.
The Warhawks took full advantage of USA’s fouls, making every free-throw attempt in the first quarter.
