Monroe, La. - The ULM tennis team earned national recognition on Tuesday as the Warhawks entered the ITA Division I women’s tennis team rankings, checking in at No. 50 in the latest poll released on Tuesday afternoon.
The Warhawks are coming off an upset win over the previously 40th-ranked Tulane on Saturday in New Orleans, with the Warhawks grabbing a 4-3 match victory. The Green Wave are ranked 43rd in the new ITA poll this week.
Last season, the Warhawks earned the No. 72 ranking in ITA rankings after they opened the season with a 7-0 mark.
