MONROE, La. – The ULM baseball team trailed by as many as five runs and erased Northwestern State's lead and tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning, but the Demons plated the eventual game-winning run in the ninth inning to defeat the Warhawks, 9-8, on Tuesday (April 29) night at Lou St. Amant Field in Monroe, La.
The Warhawks (21-24) surrendered 18 hits to the Demons (28-18) in Tuesday night's game. The Demons committed three errors in the field that led to three unearned runs for the Warhawks.
