Warhawks Enjoy 30 Top-5 Finishes to Open 2019 Outdoor Season

LAKE CHARLES, La. – The ULM track and field team began its 2019 outdoor season by finishing second overall in the McNeese Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge Saturday (March 10), earning 30 Top-5 individual finishes along the way. The top men's individual performer was Micah Dye (discus), who placed first, while Jasmine Scott-Kilgo highlighted the women's unit with a pair of second-place finishes in the 100-meter hurdles and triple jump.

ULM claimed second overall in the Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge with 208 combined points (men's and women's teams), finishing behind host McNeese, which compiled 330 total points.
