Monroe, La. - The Ragin' Cajuns scored used three big innings to pull away from ULM, downing the Warhawks 19-8 in seven innings in the regular season finale Saturday afternoon at Warhawk Field.
The Cajuns (27-29 overall, 15-15 Sun Belt) scored three runs in the third inning, then added four more in the fifth before pounding out nine runs in the top of the seventh inning, setting up the game to end by run rule.
The Cajuns took the lead in the top of the first inning when Hayden Cantrelle and Hunter Kasuls hit back-to-back doubles to open the game for a 1-0 lead.
