Eagles wins series with 9-4 and 6-1 victories Saturday
After losing two to Sam Houston State earlier in the week softball looked to right the ship in the first two of
a home series Saturday.
In game one the Eagles struck quickly.
Off a ULM error in the first two runs were brought in to give Southern the early lead.
But sophomore Cheyanne Lyon had the answer in the second and blasted a solo homer to right to bring the score to 2-1.
The Eagles were unfazed and increased their lead to four on a three run homer in the top of the third.
