SAN MARCOS, Texas – Nine Texas State blocks headlined a 3-0 loss (25-10, 25-16, 25-18) for ULM volleyball to start the weekend Friday night.
Amelia Piekut led the way with seven kills on the night, with Morgan Howard collecting 14 assists. Briana Raney led defensively with nine digs.
In the first set, the Bobcats (9-11, 4-5 Sun Belt) surged to a commanding 11-2 lead, powered by seven kills. With another scoring run by TXST, this time at 7-1, it took control of the set with a 14-point cushion and didn't look back as the Bobcats cruised to a 25-10 set one win.
