ARLINGTON, Texas – For the first time since 2014, the ULM women's golf team claimed the team championship, taking home top honors Tuesday at the UT Arlington Invitational at Texas Rangers Golf Club.
The Warhawks finished at 6-over-par 870 (285-297-288) to take the team title by 12 strokes over Houston Baptist. It marks ULM's first women's golf team championship since the ULM Fred Marx Invitational on Sept. 22-23, 2014.
"The girls played very well today," ULM assistant golf coach Lana Hodge said. "They all were striking it well, and we had some putts fall."
ULM placed all five golfers inside the Top 15 individually, including three in the Top 5.
